The summit gathered C-level executives from investing companies, regulators, construction companies, architects, financial institutions and associations to meet, network as well as exchange insights of investment strategies, operational efficiency in the Philippines hotel industry.

International Design Associates represented by its Managing Director Runddy Ramilo was invited at the Hospitality Indochina, Hotel Nikko Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to talk about "Hotel Technologies and Impact on Guests’ Experience". During the two days conference many international and local experts shared numerous presentations and their visions with the delegates from market outlook to investment opportunities, from project planning to contract management, from green design to building efficiency & from operational excellency to revenue generation of hospitality projects.

NEW FILIPINO ARCHITECTS CONFERRED AS ASEAN ARCHITECTS
Our Design Principal was conferred as the 63rd ASEAN Architect in this Philippines. This is under the ASEAN Agreement on Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) on Architectural Services was signed by the ASEAN Economic Ministers on 20 November 2007. The Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) on Architectural Services will facilitate the mobility of architectural professionals within ASEAN and enhance information exchange in order to promote adoption of best practices on standards of architectural education, professional practices and qualifications.
IDA WAS ONE OF THE RESOURCE SPEAKER OF 42ND UAP NATIONAL CONVENTION
International Design Associates (IDA) represented by its Managing Director Dr. Runddy Ramilo was honoured to be one of the Resource Speaker during 42nd United Architects of the Philippines National Convention, with the theme “Filipino Architects in a Rapidly Evolving World”, SMX, Pasay City, 21 Apr 2016. His talk “Sustainable Design of the Tropics: Performance-based Advanced Building Skins” was attended and commended by almost 500 registered architects in the Philippines.

OUR DESIGN PRINCIPAL WAS CONFERRED AS APEC ARCHITECT
We are very proud to announce that our Design Principal Dr. Runddy Ramilo was conferred APEC Architect in the Philippine Register on June 22, 2015. The APEC Architect Project is intended to facilitate the provision of architectural services between participating economies around the Pacific Rim. The fundamental idea behind the project is that using the APEC Architect Framework participating economies are able to enter into bilateral or multi-lateral arrangements which allow senior architects in these economies to access fast-track cross-border registration procedures.

His talk “Evolutionary Architecture: Folds, Genetics and In-between” was attended and commended by almost 600 registered architects in the Philippines.
