RUNDDY RAMILO
Runddy Ramilo is an award-winning international hospitality design consultant with over 20 years' experience in design and delivering hotel and resorts projects. He has diverse experience in master planning, architecture and interior design winning design awards of several branded hotels and resorts projects in Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, China, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Maldives and Dubai.
Prior to IDA, he was an Associate and Design Manager at several well-known global design firms such as HKS Architects, Aedas, Wilson and Associates, Designphase Hospitality in Singapore. As a Lead Designer,, he worked along with hotel operators and F & B consultants while leading a team of architects and interior designers for hotel and resorts projects such as Hilton, Hyatt, Shangri-la, Marriot, Four Points, Radisson, Taj, Resort World and Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
Incredibly versatile, he is also active in design research through post-doctoral research fellowship. He presented his research works in international conferences and published high impact factor journals. He is a scientific reviewer of several referred academic journals such as Frontiers of Architectural Research (Elsevier) and Journal of Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management. He maintains strong alliance with research at CodeLab, Curtin University Australia and University of Technology Malaysia.
He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Architecture (with Merit) at UTM/Deakin University, Master of Science in Integrated Sustainable Design, National University of Singapore and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from National University, Philippines as a Scholar.
He is a Registered APEC and ASEAN Architect, LEED Green Associate, and member of Royal Institute of British Architects, American Institute of British Architects and the Charter President of United Architects in the Philippines in Singapore.
