RUNDDY RAMILO
A visionary leader and accomplished hospitality designer, Runddy Ramilo is an internationally recognized APEC and ASEAN Architect with specialist expertise in hospitality design and resort planning. He brings with him over 20 years of international hospitality project experience from world's best design firms in Singapore, responsible for winning hospitality design awards.

He founded IDA in Singapore with the vision to bring his hospitality design experience to the Philippines while aligning with Filipino values. Before IDA, he was a Lead Hospitality Designer and Design Manager for 20 years at several well-known global design firms in Singapore such as Aedas Interiors, Wilson and Associates, Catallo + Mackenzie Designphase Hospitality, and DP Architects. He worked along with the best hospitality designers in Singapore, collaborating with hotel operators, developers and F & B consultants while leading a team of architects and interior designers.
In his projects, he combines guest experience-driven design, cost-effective spatial design solutions while considering the return of investment of the project. With his exceptional skills in quick space planning and formulation of creative design ideas into sketches, he was the Lead Designer responsible for designing and managing a team for successful delivery of projects such as Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort in Singapore, Grand Hyatt Resort, Hainan China, Grand Hyatt, Guiyang China, Hyatt Regency, Jiading China, Olhuville Resorts & Spa, Maldives, Taj Hotel, Chennai India, Radisson Blu Hotel, Mumbai, India, Sheraton Hotel in Bangladesh and Hilton Hotel in Wangfujing China.
Beyond design practice, Runddy Ramilo is active in the academe and research. His thought leadership extend into research areas such as smart hospitality, hospitality design for Gen-Z, computational design management and energy-efficient building skins for tropical environments. He published his research in international architectural journals which earned more than 200 citations. He is a peer reviewer for renowned publications like Frontiers of Architectural Research, Journal of Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management. He frequently speaks and is a panelist at hospitality and architectural summits, including the Philippine Hospitality Design Summit and other hospitality industry forums.
He is a Registered APEC and ASEAN Architect, LEED Green Associate, and a member of Royal Institute of British Architects, American Institute of Architects, and the Founder/Charter President of United Architects in the Philippines (UAP) in Singapore. He was recently awarded the most outstanding member of UAP (Singapore) in 2025.
