RUNDDY RAMILO
Runddy is a Singapore-based APEC & ASEAN Architect with specialist expertise in hospitality design and sub-specialist in residential and commercial projects. He brings with him over 20 years international experience from world best hospitality design firms winning design competitions and delivering luxury branded projects.
He was an Associate and Design Manager at several well-known global design firms like HKS Architects, Aedas, Wilson and Associates, Designphase in Singapore where he designed and managed a substantial number of branded luxury hotel and resorts projects in Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
With his ability in quick space planning and formulation of creative design concepts into sketches, he was the Lead Designer of several award-winning hospitality projects such as Hilton, Radisson, Shangri-la, Hyatt, Four Points, Taj, Movenpick, Marina Bay Sands and several resorts in Maldives.
Aside from design practice, he is also active in design research through post-doctoral research fellowship. He presented his research work in international conferences and publish high impact factor journals. He is a scientific reviewer of several referred academic journals such as Frontiers of Architectural Research (Elsevier) and Journal of Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management. He maintains strong alliance with research at CodeLab, Curtin University Australia and University of Technology Malaysia.
He is a Registered APEC and ASEAN Architect and member of Royal Institute of British Architects, American Institute of British Architects and the Charter President of United Architects in the Philippines in Singapore.
